Riders live in harmony with monsters and form an unwavering bond with them, thanks to mysterious artifacts called Gems of Friendship.

The monsters who befriended the Riders are referred to as the Monsties. By becoming a Rider, you can tame Monsties, and ride them to explore the world. Go on an adventure without further ado!

• History

The adventure begins near the village of the Riders. Our hero, Lilia and Ren find on their way a mysterious shining egg.

For fun, our three friends decide to improvise the Rite of Friendship, which to their surprise was a success!

The egg hatches, revealing a baby Rathalos, a flying wyvern nicknamed “the king of the skies.” The trio affectionately named him “Ratha” and brought him back to the village.

A few days later, a monster infected with the “black plague” attacks the village. He is pushed back, but devastates everything in his path, leaving indelible scars in the hearts of Ren and Lilia.

One year later

Our hero receives a Friendship Gem from the Village Chief and officially becomes a Rider. Ren and Lilia leave the village. Our hero, now estranged from his friends, teams up with the merry Navirou and embarks on an adventure.

A great story of friendship and glory awaits you. Ride the world of Monster Hunter Stories!

Due to a change in the Google Play Games, the “Wireless Combat” feature will no longer be available from March 31, 2020. However, after the Ver.1.0.2 update, you will be able to access all titles obtained through Combat Ranks. In addition, we have added a new method to get the reward which can only be obtained through the “Wireless Combat” feature. To learn more, access the “Wireless Combat” feature after the Ver.1.0.2 update.
Note: The “Wireless Combat” feature becomes available when the player has progressed sufficiently in the game.
