As you know, chess is one of the oldest strategy games in the world. Chess is an excellent logic game that develops skills such as tactics, strategy, and visual memory. I strive to create an app that allows a player of any level to enjoy the game.

Chess pieces:

– The pawn moves forward one or two squares on the first move from its original position, and goes diagonally forward.
– The king moves one square vertically, horizontally or diagonally.
– The queen moves the desired distance, vertically, horizontally or diagonally.
– The tower moves the desired distance, vertically or horizontally.
– The rider moves in L, which is equivalent to two vertical squares and one horizontal and vice versa. It is the only part that can “jump” from other parts.
– The bishop moves diagonally, the desired distance.

Important situations in chess:

– failure to the king: the situation arises when a king is immediately threatened by opposing pieces.
– checkmate: the situation arises when the player whose turn it is is in check and has no legal movement to get out of this chess.
– chess and pat: the situation arises when the player whose turn it is has no legal movement but is not in check. There is therefore equality.

The object of the game is to checkmate the opposing king.

Two special moves in chess:

– Castling is a double move, executed by the rook and the king, provided that there is no check, that these pieces have not moved, and that no opposing piece can potentially be placed between the tower and the king.
– The catch in passing is a move allowing a pawn to take an opponent’s pawn which would have advanced two squares. The capture is carried out as if the captured pawn had only advanced one square. This capture is only possible on the turn directly following the advance of the captured pawn.
