Kodi® media center is a free and open source multi-platform software media player and award-winning entertainment hub for digital media for HTPC (Home Theater PC). It uses a 10 foot user interface designed to be a media player for the living room, using a remote control as the primary input device. Its graphical user interface (GUI) allows the user to easily navigate and view videos, photos, podcasts, and music from hard drive, optical drive, local network and the Internet using just a few buttons .

IMPORTANT:

The official Kodi version does not contain any content what so ever. This means you need to deliver your own content from local or remote storage, DVD, Blu-Ray, or whatever media you own. Additionally Kodi allows you to install third party plugins which can provide access to content which is available for free on the official content provider website. Any other means of viewing illegal content that would otherwise be paid for is endorsed or approved by the Kodi team.
