Bouncer gives you the option of granting permissions temporarily.
Want to mark a location or take a photo, but don’t want this app to be able to use the camera or get your location anytime? Bouncer gives you exactly that. As soon as you exit the app, Bouncer will automatically remove the permission for you in an instant so you can start doing what you do best again, without having to worry about apps invading your privacy and wasting your battery.
Bouncer is designed for unique permissions, not permissions where you only want the app to have them in the foreground. Bouncer can be used either way, but when you’re using apps throughout the day, they’ll be in the foreground most of the time.
– Increased security, confidentiality and autonomy
– Never worry about what apps are doing in the background
– No complicated configuration is needed (no root or adb)
Some devices work better with Bouncer than others due to different restrictions. Some devices like Nokia devices may prevent Bouncer from working due to its aggressive battery management.
How it works?
Bouncer uses an accessibility service. It activates when you grant an authorization and gives you the option to remove it. When you get home, Bouncer will open the app settings and remove the permission for you very quickly.
Why should I trust Bouncer?
Yes, an app that can turn off permissions can turn them on too. But Bouncer doesn’t ask for any permission. He can’t see information in apps except for settings app (so he can disable permissions). The bouncer doesn’t have internet permission, so even if he could get sensitive information (which he couldn’t), he couldn’t transmit it anywhere. All of these facts are easily verified for anyone who can verify them.
If you are having trouble with Bouncer, please read the help guide and use the contact support option if it cannot be resolved.
